Seal-a-Smile Program

Northern Health Centers Seal-A-Smile Program along with the Crivitz School District and Marinette County Public Health are offering a free preventive dental sealant program for all Crivitz School District students. This program is funded by the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile, a collaborative program of Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. All procedures will follow recommendations from the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for school-based dental sealant programs.
Ashlei McTrusty, a Registered Dental Hygienist for the Marinette County Seal-A-Smile program, will be at Crivitz Schools providing dental exams, sealants, and fluoride to our students.
This FREE program includes:
-Toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss
-Dental screening exam
-Fluoride varnish
-Sealants (if needed)
-Tooth brushing instructions and oral health education
-A letter sent home explaining what services were done and suggestions for further treatment and information on where to obtain additional dental care, if needed
