    Welcome!

My name is Carrie Klitzke and I teach Visual Arts for grades 7-12.  I graduated from UWGB in 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and began working as a teacher shortly after.  I taught art at Coleman Elementary for a few years before coming to Crivitz in 2014.

I believe that a quality art program should teach students how to think like artists, not just make pretty pictures (although that is also important!).  I teach what I call a "Balanced Choice Curriculum", meaning that students will receive a balance of skill-building instruction along with a range of projects that allow for student autonomy.  If you are interested in choice based curriculum research or information, feel free to check out the following link:

Thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  If you would like to get in touch with me, the best time to call is after school (3:20-4:00pm).  Or, better yet, email me and I can get back to you at your convenience.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Klitzke
