Referendum Home

  • The Crivitz School District is going to referendum on November 5, 2024 for $29 million, with a tax impact of $1.33 ($133 annually per $100,000 of property value). The referendum focuses on:

    Capital Improvements at the elementary school including roof replacement, updates to major building systems, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible bathrooms.

    Educational Space Needs at the elementary school including improved secure office entry, 4-year-old kindergarten classrooms, and library.

    Tech Ed Addition/Renovation at the middle/high school to provide separate spaces for woods and metals and enhanced spaces to support hands-on learning activities.

     



    THE QUESTION (as it will appear on the ballot):

    Shall the School District of Crivitz, Marinette and Oconto Counties, Wisconsin be authorized to issue pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $29,000,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school facility improvement project consisting of:  renovations at the Elementary School, including for classrooms, a secure entrance/office and the library; construction of an addition and renovations at the Middle/High School for technical education; district-wide capital maintenance, building infrastructure and site improvements; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
