    • Youth in Partnership With Parents for Empowerment (YiPPE)

      Youth in Partnership with Parents for Empowerment is a Leadership Development Opportunity for Youth with Disabilities and Their Parents to Learn About the Transition Process in a Unique Way.  

      YiPPE is a group of youth and their parents who meet together five times during the year. They will hear from speakers and take part in hands-on activities in parallel programs centered around transition. While some topics may overlap, parents will be able to enjoy their own sessions while their youth are learning similar information in a youth-friendly format.

    • PARENTS IN PARTNERSHIP

      Parents in Partnership (PIP) is a statewide program which deepens the ability of families and educators to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. PIP is a leadership development training for parents who have children with disabilities ages 6-14 that takes place over five weekend sessions during the year.

    • Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative

      Creating Partnerships Between Parents and Educators for Students with Disabilities. Creating partnerships between parents and educators for students with disabilities. WSPEI is all about partnerships. Its goal is to help parents and school districts find or create the resources that will help them build positive working relationships that lead to shared decision making and children's learning. It supports increased sharing of information among parents, schools, projects, organizations and agencies through networking meetings, conferences, person-to-person contact, and media.Registration is open for the 2013-2014 Parents in Partnership (PIP) and Youth in Partnership with Parents for Empowerment (YiPPE) programs. The PIP locations are Lac du Flambeau, Rhinelander, and St. Croix Falls. The YiPPE will be in Green Bay. Visit the PIP and YiPPE pages for more information.

The focus of our work is health care access, coverage and supports and services for children with special needs. We are the home of the Family Voices State Affiliate Organization and Wisconsin’s Family to Family Health Information and Education Network.
