My Home Page
Welcome to my new classroom website! Welcome to my speech and language website. I am hoping you will find some useful information here about your child's communication skills. Check out my suggested web sites for parents, as well as for other staff members. Also feel free to contact me by phone, e-mail, or better yet, stop in and see me. I can be found in the elementary building, on the 3rd floor, room 334. I am also at the high school one day a week, and can be contacted through the high school office.
About me: I am a speech therapist and work with students at all grade levels (elementary, junior high, and high school). I have been providing speech therapy and hearing screenings in the Crivitz School District for more than 30 years and really enjoy working with the students and staff.
Daily Class Schedule: I am at the elementary/Jr. high school on Mondays through Thursdays and at the high school on Fridays.
School Phone number and extension: I can be reached at the elementary/Jr. high school on Mondays-Thursdays by calling (715-854-2721 extension 481) or I can be reached at the high school on Fridays by dialing 715-854-2721 and the secretary will page me.
Availability for Parent meetings: Parents are free to call me at any time and leave a message as to what time is best to contact them. All speech students have a current Individual Education Plan (IEP), which needs to be updated at least one time per school year. Also, all speech students need to be reevaluated every three years or sooner as required by special education law. Parents will be contacted to set up a meeting time for their child's IEP meeting and/or reevaluation meeting. I am also available during all parent/teacher conferences at the elementary building, and all parents are free to stop in and meet with me.
Classroom Expectations: A speech student may bring home an activity that was completed in speech therapy with a note written on it for parents to review the activity with their child to encourage practice and carry over of skills outside the therapy room. These activities do not need to be returned and are for the students to continue practicing at home.
