Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Jeffery G. Baumann

I was born in Winfield, Illinois, and moved to Crivitz at a young age.  After attending elementary and middle school in Crivitz, I graduated from Crivitz High School in 1987.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1994, with a minor in humanistic studies.  I taught English for one year in Cleveland, Texas, before returning to Wisconsin and taking a position at Crivitz High School.  I taught English for the next 14 years in Crivitz – with a brief stint as an English teacher in Bullhead City, Arizona – and coached football, basketball, and baseball.  During that time, I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Marion University in 2009.  I became the principal at Crivitz High School at the beginning of the 2009-10 school year, and have continued in that capacity ever since.

I entered the field of education because I value the importance of a good education and I enjoy working with, and coaching, young people.  My goal – and the goal of the entire staff at Crivitz High School – is to provide a solid educational foundation, along with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that will prepare our students to succeed in their academic or career pursuits after high school.

I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching basketball, reading, fishing, and traveling when I have some spare time.  I have been fortunate to live most of my life in northeast Wisconsin and to work in a district that has always meant a great deal to me.
